Shingles

The fiberglass is made by overlapping wet fiberglass and using a urea-formaldehyde adhesive to properly bind it all together. The mat then receives a coating of asphalt blended with a variety of mineral fillers to make the shingles waterproof.  They are a good choice if you’re looking for style at a budget price. In our environment, they may last 15-20 years or more but can be vulnerable to high winds.

Additional features include: lightweight (240 lbs per 100²ft), fire-resistant, material warranty, not as expensive as other roofing materials, resistance to UV rays and durable and there are a great array of manufacturers and colours to choose from.
