Metal Roofing Installation
At Soare Contracting we are fully invested in steel roofing and believe it is a tried and true roofing product that is the roof of the future. We specialize in two main styles of steel panels in multiple profiles in 38 standard colours and 24 premium colours as well as wood grains and prints. With our two standing-seam roofing machines we manufacture all our own panels and flashings and can therefore better control cost and accessibility.
Cladding / Siding / Mansards
Cladding (or siding) is a term that refers to exterior wall coverings and can include corrugated metal panels, hardi-plank siding, roofing/wall panel and can also incorporate rain screen systems.
In our area, in addition to the typical outside wall of a house, mansards are a common example of cladding.
Shingles
Fibreglass shingles are the most common roofing product used on residential homes. They can be more economical in the short term and will blend in any neighborhood. We have access to all the major shingle manufacturers and only install CSA and RCABC approved shingles. Brands we install regularly are Malarkey, Owens Corning, IKO, Certainteed and GAF.
Flat Roofing
In some low slope to flat roof applications we recommend a membrane be installed that could be either a stand alone membrane eg.a torch on membrane with a granulated cap or a self adhered membrane also know as peel and stick to be installed before your main roofing product is installed
Torch on roofing consists of two or more layers of modified asphalt that are usually melted together by a torch. This creates a roof that is resistant to ultraviolet light and a waterproof barrier.
